Brownie Batter Oatmeal

Hey ya’ll! I have a recipe for you. It combines some of my favorite things in life: brownies, oatmeal, and chocolate. You really can’t go wrong with this recipe. Just make sure that you don’t overload on the chocolate because then it can turn this healthy dish into a sweet fatty overload. Lets get this chocolate party started.

1/2 c old fashioned oats
1 packet of 20 calorie hot chocolate
1 1/2 c water
1/4 c fat free cottage cheese
a couple of Ghiradelli chocolate nibs
1/4 of a brownie (broken into pieces)
1 banana

photo(3)1. Places oatmeal, banana, and water in a bowl.

2. Microwave for 2:40-3 minutes in the microwave.

photo(4)3. Pour in hot cocoa packet and mix until thoroughly covered.

4. Add in cottage cheese and stir well so that it is spread evenly throughout the bowl.

photo(2)5. Crumble up brownie piece and place on top of oatmeal.

6. Add a couple of chocolate chips (6-7) on top of oatmeal.

photo(1)Enjoy this chocolatey bowl of goodness. You definitely won’t regret it. Plus you are getting a sweet treat while getting a healthy dose of fiber. Oatmeal is a great breakfast because it is super filling, provides you with a variety of health benefits, and you can make some tasty combinations.
